Did I Mention We're Moving to Buffalo?

Yep, come August we're leaving this gorgeous paradise and moving to Buffalo New York. Nate will be getting his Masters in Financial Economics. We are excited for the adventure, but very, very sad to leave. Edison and I are making sure to get in as many beach days as we possibly can. Ah! So sad!

Getting ready for Bed.

Edison loves to leave his shirt on his head when we're changing him. It's his "hat" as he calls it. After it's securely on his head he runs to the mirror to check in out and say "cool." What a trend setter Love him.

Hey Edison, you working hard, or hardly working?

"A Bus!"

Our apartment looks over a busy street, and Edison LOVES to point out all the buses as they drive by. So, Nate and I took him on his first bus ride, and he loved it!

Here we are anxiously waiting at the bus stop.

Edison's eyes got really big when the bus pulled up and opened the doors. He was aw struck the whole ride...and everybody loved it.

Our destination...the pet store. He was quite the happy camper.

Let's Look on the Bright Side of Things.

1)It made for a cute picture, and gave me something to laugh about IN THE FUTURE.

2) I know I'm getting my money's worth out of the toilet paper (it took me 10 min to roll up.)

3) The Alexander Household now has "hand rolled" toilet paper. Whoa. Big time.

1) I don't even have to toss the salad.

1) He washes his own dishes!

1.Ohhh... that's what that brand new tube of lipstick that hasn't even been opened up looks like on.

St. Patricks Day Marshmallow Crakers

This isn't something that involves frosting and green food dye...this is AUTHENTIC. No kidding, I found it in a book from our library, "A Pot O' Gold- A treasury of Irish Stories, Poetry, Folklore and (of Course) Blarney". Oh my goodness, marshamllow and buttery crisp graham crackers.... who knew that the irish even knew what marshmallows were??!

"Cream crackers were invented in Ireland, but graham crackers or another plain, unsalty cracker will do."

Take:

1 graham cracker

1 Marshmallow

a blob of butter

1 almond

Put the marshmallow on top of each cracker. Put a small piece of butter on each marshmallow, topped by an almond. Place on a pan and put under a broiler until the marshmallow has melted over all.
